May 29, 2013 – RUN FOR YOUR LIFE – The other day at work I was unlocking the gym door when all of a sudden my co-worker screamed so loudly! She jumped! I jumped too, because of her scream, and then I started cracking up laughing so hard. There was a cat trapped inside of a trash can. I slowly opened up the lid again and that cat flew out of there so quickly. It ran as fast as it could all the way down the street. Inside of the can there was cat fur all over it. Who knows how long that little cat was trying to escape! It’s so easy for us to get trapped too, before we even realize that we are trapped. Sin has a way of doing that. You think it’s an interesting place to go to, and then all of a sudden – You are trapped in sin! Jesus is your way of escape from sin and you need to run for your life! 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
