JUNE 11, 2013 – THE DRIVE – “Are we there yet Daddy?” How many times have we heard that coming from the backseat of our car? We say that as children, but then we continue to say that as adults to our Heavenly Father. I was thinking about this all day today at work, while I was shampooing the carpet in one room for 8 hours…yes, it takes that long. The Lord is taking each one of us somewhere – His Destination – and we often become antsy during the drive. We need to enjoy the scenery of what is right in front of us, instead of trying to see what’s way ahead. The Lord is taking us on a trip of a lifetime, so take full advantage of the road that you are on right now. The drive itself is a great adventure! Stop asking, “Are we there yet ABBA?” As long as ABBA is with you – You are already there!!! Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” (NKJ)
