JUNE 25, 2013 – RECOGNIZE JESUS – Have you ever put much thought into this: God’s chosen people did not recognize Him! They had been worshipping Him for thousands of years. They had studied the scriptures, and still, when He stood right in front of their face, they did not recognize Him. Because Jesus came to them in a different manner, than their preconceived ideas, they missed seeing Him. If His own chosen people missed seeing Him, you might also miss seeing Him. Is Jesus standing right in front of your face too, coming to you in a different manner than your preconceived ideas? An elder once told me, “God can do whatever He wants to do – Just read the stories in His Word!” The “religious” did not recognize Jesus – Make sure that you do! Luke 15:1-2 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” (NKJ)
