JUNE 26, 2013 – THE APPOINTMENT MAKER – Have you ever had to break an appointment? Maybe something just came up in your life and you had to cancel. Do you realize that God never cancels and breaks His appointments? As I was shampooing carpets all day I listened to my MP3 player; worship songs and Bible teachings. One of the teachings that I listened to today was about Sarah. She thought that her promised appointment was canceled – she even laughed about it. (Gen 18:12) God has specific things appointed for each one of us. Maybe you feel like you should be working at a different job. Maybe you feel like you should be living somewhere else. Maybe you know the Lord has spoken a promise to you and it has been years in the waiting. The Lord could not fulfill His promise to Sarah until it was the ‘Appointed Time’. The Appointments that God has for you have already been set; the dates and the times have already been prepared. It’s a done deal – according to the time of life!!! Genesis 18:14 “Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (NKJ) Now that’s worth taking a deep breath…. and relaxing!
