AUGUST 12, 2013 – THE GREAT ESCAPE – Did you know that Jesus has made your way of escape concerning the traps of this world? I love it when great truths from God’s word are revealed to me. I was so screwed up eighteen years ago, but when I came back to the Lord and rededicated, He immediately caused me to escape the corruption of lust…everything was about His divine nature! Because of His divine nature, our eyes are the eyes of Christ, not the eyes of the world. We see everything differently, and by seeing things differently, we escape the corruption of lust! I knew that He did this in my life all those years ago but I couldn’t quite figure out how, and 2 Peter 1:2-4 explains it perfectly! 2 Peter 1:2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
