AUGUST 13, 2013 – YOU HAVE TO – Has anyone ever gotten on your nerves? Has a friend ever broken a promise to you and hurt you deeply? Has anyone ever talked about you behind your back? Guess what you have to do – You Have To Love Them! We do not have a choice in this matter, if we are children of God. I am not saying that you have to be best buds with them but you have to love them with the love of God. Father God loved the ‘world’ so much that He gave His only Son. We must love because God is love.(I John 4:8) It does not matter what they have done to you. Jesus is our example. Jesus was betrayed. Jesus was misunderstood. Jesus was laughed at and ridiculed. Jesus continued to love. I John 4:20-21 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. (NKJ) You have to – It is a command!
