AUGUST 15, 2013 – BUT A FEW DAYS – Have you ever had to wait for something? All of us have! Have you ever had to wait for a promise of God? Check this out: Genesis 29:20 So Jacob served seven years for Rachel and they seemed to him but a few days because of his love for her. (NAS) Jacob’s love was so big that the sacrifices he made were small. To him, seven years was “but a few days”. When you know the Lord has spoken, when you know a promise has been made, then time is really irrelevant. Oh, when you walk in the flesh time is relevant, but when you walk in the spirit time is irrelevant! When your eyes are focused on Christ, when your eyes are focused on a pursued purpose then it will be “but a few days”. When you give your all for the glory of God then all sacrifices are small!
