AUGUST 30, 2013 – MAKE IT PERSONAL – How personal do you get when it comes to the relationships in your life? Do you keep most people an arm’s distance away, so to speak? The more personal you become with someone, the closer the connection that you will have with them. Jesus got as personal as it can get – He gave His life for you, in order that you could truly live. Everything about Him is personal! Make it personal – Every time you open up The Word, it’s just for you! When you feel His Spirit during worship, it’s just for you! He hung on the cross just for you! He rose from the dead just for you!He made His relationship with you very personal. You have to get to know Him personally, in order for your life to be changed permanently. Romans 10:8-11 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” (NKJ)
