SEPTEMBER 5, 2013 – A LITTLE HERE, A LITTLE THERE – So, what exactly is ‘clean’ to you? This morning I went into the library and asked, “Why is this table here? Are we having a meeting?” I was then informed that we were having a UIL Meeting with lots of schools coming to attend, in less than two hours. I then said, “Why didn’t you tell me? I need to clean.” I was then informed that everything looked great! And just taking a quick look with the human eye, it did look great. As I walked slowly around the room I picked up a little piece of paper here, and a paper clip there. I picked up a little rock here, and a string there. When I finished I had a hand full of trash! Going slow and really scoping out the place I found trash. Do you think your heart is clean? Taking a quick look, many of us would say yes but what about the small, detailed parts. A little sin here and a little sin there can add up! Psalms 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (NKJ)
