SEPTEMBER 7, 2013 – HIS GREAT ARMY – Do you know this verse? Romans 8:31b If God is for us, who can be against us? (NKJ) Most of us probably do. We know that God is for us and that He is on our side but sometimes He is going to lead you into a very hard training ground that He has prepared just for you. You are in God’s military and He is training you with real life hardships. Joel 2:25 “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you. (NKJ) This is a biblical truth that you must know! My close friend’s husband just graduated from Special Forces; his training was as hard as it gets. In the same way that the U.S. Military trains soldiers, putting them through extreme, hard training, the Lord will do the same for you. Why? Because He loves you and He is molding you into a soldier for Christ. If things ‘seem’ to be going bad in your life right now, it does not mean that God is not on your side. Keep holding onto His hand – God is pushing you through His Special Forces! And look what happens next – Joel 2:26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame. (NKJ) God’s soldier will never be put to shame!
