SEPTEMBER 9, 2013 – THE SHOW MUST GO ON – Have you ever had to push yourself beyond what you thought that you were capable of doing? My daughter Ashly is in a band called REVELY. They had a show Saturday night and she had the stomach virus. It started the afternoon of the show and she became very ill for two hours, prior to the show. She called me on the phone and we prayed. She then texted me after the first set and told me that she told the Lord, “Lord you have to do this for me. I am so sick”. She then got sick again, stepped back on stage, and did the second set! The Lord carried her through in a way that she had never experienced before.(That’s my little Rock Star for Jesus!) Sometimes we do feel sick, very sick – whether mentally, physically, or even spiritually – but The Show Must Go On! It may seem totally impossible but the Lord will show up and carry you through. Step out in faith believing that He will show up for you. I am going to be a little blunt here – As Ashly was throwing up, the Lord was showing up for her “Big Time” on that stage. Don’t walk off your stage – The Show Must Go On! Psalms 41:3 The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; you will sustain him on his sickbed. (NKJ)
