OCTOBER 9, 2013 – SUPPORT SYSTEM – Do you realize just how important your friends really are? They are a part of your support system! Of course Jesus is our main support system, but He will bring special friends into our lives that are there for us, through the good times and the difficult times. This morning was a tough morning, and at just the right time the Lord brought me a friend when I really needed one. As soon as I saw her, I hugged her! We shared scriptures together. We strengthened each others faith and in ten minutes I was refreshed! The Lord has blessed me with many spiritual friends at my job and I praise Him for that. True friends are few and far between, so cherish them! Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 18:24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (NKJ)
