OCTOBER 13, 2013 – UNDENIABLY GOD – Does God ever just totally and completely blow your mind? Just hang out with Him, and He will! I was at the creek yesterday morning, totally laying myself out before the Lord. I was telling Him how it “feels” like a desert time in my life right now. Here’s the amazing thing about that – I was sitting right next to a running stream. My mind was upon a desert but it was also upon a stream. At that moment the Holy Spirit impressed it upon my heart to read Streams in a Desert. As I was walking home, I was then telling the Lord how I felt like Joseph – Cast into prison for just serving Him. Ok, now, are you ready for this? This is SO GOD – I walked into my home, got on the internet, and check this out: Streams in the Desert, Daily Bread Devotional October 12: Joy in Prison – “And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into a prison . . . But Jehovah was with Joseph . . . and that which he did, Jehovah made it to prosper” (Gen. 39:20-23).When God lets us go to prison because we have been serving Him, and goes there with us, prison is about the most blessed place in the world that we could be in. Joseph seems to have known that. He did not sulk and grow discouraged and rebellious because “everything was against him.” ….(the devo continued on) You could say – what a coincidence – but I say, no way – Undeniably God! John 10:27 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (NKJ) TRUST GOD!
