TAKING A MOMENT

OCTOBER 23, 2013 – MESSY PREPARATIONS – Have you ever noticed how messy things can get whenever you are preparing for something special? This morning as I entered a high school room I could not believe how messy the floor was, but it was okay, because after all, it’s my job. It was a mess for a very good reason – they are preparing for the Homecoming Dance. The Lord takes great care in preparing each one of us for very specific works, and in the preparation time, things can get messy! The Lord prepares us for His plan and His purposes! Does you life seem a little messy right now? Know that the Lord is in control. Know that all things work together for the good to those who love Him. Know that in His eyes – You are a beautiful mess being prepared for a beautiful work! John 15:2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”
