OCTOBER 24, 2013 – FOREVER STAMPED – Have you ever experienced a moment in your past that has been forever stamped upon your soul? This morning I had to clean the press box at the stadium, and as I stood atop the bleachers, memories began to flood my mind. You see, over three years ago I would go to those bleachers, three to four times a week in the evenings when I would get off work at the hospital, and I would run them. Up and down and up and down – you get the picture! It didn’t’ matter if it was freezin’ cold or misting rain, the Lord and I would meet there. Thousands upon thousands of times, I ran those bleachers, all the while, memorizing the chapter of Ecclesiastes 3. That time in my life is forever stamped upon my soul. Nothing, or no one, can take that time away from me – That time that I spent with My Lord! Him and I went through something – It has been forever stamped upon my soul! Eccl 3:1, 11, 14-15 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven…He has made everything beautiful in its time…..I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been; and God requires an account of what is past. (NKJ)
