OCTOBER 25, 2013 – ZIP YOUR LIPS – Do you enjoy sitting in silence, with peace and quiet? I strive to always grow and mature in the Lord, and one thing that He has really been teaching me is to – Zip Your Lips! (Paraphrase…of course) Leo has told me, “You should not always speak of the things of the Lord to others. Sometimes you should keep quiet and wait on God to do what God is going to do.” That is totally scriptural! Lamentations 3:25-26 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. (NKJ) As we are waiting on the Lord, we should zip our lips. Lamentations 3:28-29 Let him sit alone and keep silent, because God has laid it on him; Let him put his mouth in the dust– there may yet be hope. (NKJ) It’s between you and God – No talking necessary!
