TAKING A MOMENT

OCTOBER 28, 2013 – TOPIC OF CONVERSATION – Have you ever really thought about your topics of conversations throughout a single day? Many of us associate with several people throughout a day’s span – what is your topic of conversation? I was getting ready for work early this morning and Leo asked me, “Where is that verse about our sins are scattered as far as the east is from the west? Is it Psalms 102?” I told him that I thought it was Psalms 103. That was our first conversation of the day! I had another conversation several hours later with 7 men at the Harper Park Arena. It had to do with motorcycles, horses, and barrels. Did you know that a horse can run barrels faster than a motorcycle can drive around them? (I had to walk over and talk to them when I saw a motorcycle circling the barrels….too curious, I am) You just never know what topics of conversations may arise in a day’s span, but one thing that you can know, one thing that you can make sure of is – keep your topics of conversations wholesome and upright!   Psalms19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
