TAKING A MOMENT

OCTOBER 29, 2013 – RESERVATIONS FOR TWO – Do you realize that every single day of your life you have “Reservations for Two”? As I opened up my living room window this morning at 4:30 a.m., turned off the lights, listened to the sounds of creation, and spoke with my Lord, I had reservations for two. Later when I was at the park on my morning break and I sang worship songs to my Lord, while swinging, I had reservations for two. Just Him and I, no other parties were invited. He has a reservation set aside just for you. That special place, that special moment, that special time for just you and Jesus! John 20:15-18 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher). Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'” Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.
