NOVEMBER 14, 2013 – UNDERCOVER – Something to ponder: What if Jesus told others about your sin as much as you told others about your brother’s sin? OR as much as you ‘listened’ to others tell about your brother’s sin? There is an amazing real life story in The Word about covering our brother’s sin. Genesis 9:20-27 Noah got drunk and became uncovered (naked) in his tent. One of his sons saw this and then went and told two of his other brothers. Then these two, Shem and Japeth, took a garment, walked into the tent backwards refusing to look upon their father’s sin, and covered him up. Check out what Noah had to say to the son that told about his sin and what Noah had to say to the two that covered his sin in verses 24-27. Keep your friend’s sin undercover! Cover your friend’s sin – By covering your lips in prayer! Jesus covers you! Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
