NOVEMBER 18, 2013 – BEFORE THE FIRE – What are you doing before the fire starts? What fire – The fires that you will have to walk through because of your faith. Think about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. They were able to walk through the fire because of what they were doing before the fire started! Your faith will be tested; that’s a fact. This world will ask you to bow down to other gods. People will attempt to get you to deny what Christ is doing in your life. It is a must that we strengthen our faith daily, so that we can stand strong through the fires of our faith. We will each have to walk through our own individual fires. Sometimes things can heat up in our lives really fast, and they can heat up really, really hot; even seven times hotter than usual (Daniel 3:19). If you want Jesus to be with you in the fire, like He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego (Daniel 3:25) then you better be walking with Him before the fire. Isaiah 43:2 When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. (NKJ)
