NOVEMBER 26, 2013 – REMEMBER GOD – What is your very first memory of you and God? My dad is with me this week and I love hanging out with him because he talks a lot about the past. I love past stories. Last night he was telling Leo all about the time that a doctor said that I was going to die in three weeks. I was in the fourth grade. I woke up one morning and my legs were in extreme pain. I could no longer walk. My parents took me to a doctor and he told them that there was absolutely nothing that they could do. He said (with me right there in the room) that I had a rare form of polio and I would die within three weeks. It’s a long story but you know what I remember the most about that time in my life? I remember coming home from that doctor’s office and my mom laying me in bed for a nap. I was then left alone and I talked to God. That is my first real memory of being alone with God. Psalms 77:10-11 And I said, “This is my anguish; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.” I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember Your wonders of old. (NKJ) Read ALL of Psalms 77 and remember God!
