NOVEMBER 29, 2013 – A HEART LESSON – Do you realize that you should never stop learning? The day you stop learning is the day you stop growing. If you open up God’s Word everyday, you will learn everyday! Check out Proverbs 3:1-6. Read all of those verses. The ‘heart’ is spoken of three times, and you know what I call that? A heart lesson! Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands (NKJ) It’s not good enough to just know the Word in your mind because obeying God’s commands must come from within your heart. Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart (NKJ) Mercy and truth must come from within your heart in order for these beautiful attributes to flow from you, onto others, and in order for you to truly know the character of God. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; (NKJ) The Lord is looking for those of us that will trust Him in our heart, and not with our human mind. When you plant this verse deep within your heart – God will rock your world!
