DECEMBER 7, 2013 – DELIGHT YOURSELF – Have you delighted yourself in anything lately? Maybe a yummy dessert, a good movie, an amazing restaurant, etc… What about this one – Have you delighted yourself in the Lord lately? Merriam-Webster’s definition for delight: “A high degree of gratification: Joy, Extreme Satisfaction.” As you delight yourself in Him, He will make sure that the desires of your heart line up with His plan for you…and then…He will give them to you! We often have many desires within our heart, but if we are not delighting in the Lord, our desires may not be of Him. As we begin to delight in Him on a daily basis (remember – extreme satisfaction) our hearts change; our desires change! Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. (NKJ) Have A Delightful Day In Jesus!
