FEBRUARY 21 – God’s Surprises – Who loves surprises? Ummm…like everyone! Leo told me this the other day, “I think God is going to really surprise you.” We all love to surprise our kids. We love to see the look on their faces when we hand them something that they were not expecting. We treat them because we love them! God is the same way – He treats us because He loves us. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.(NKJ) …no variation or shadow of turning….God never changes His perfect gifts that He has planned just for you! Surprise!
FEBRUARY 20 – HE Knows Why – Why do you do the things that you do? Think about it. I know that I sure have – everything that we do is going to be judged by HIM. If you do everything for the Lord, with a pure heart, then you will receive from Him! 1 Cor 3:11-15 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. (NKJ) Will the things that you do endure the fire? If not, then maybe you are suppose to be doing something different….think about it!
