FEBRUARY 27 – TROUBLED SOUL – Have you ever felt troubled? Have you ever felt like your circumstances were too much to handle? Have Hope! Jesus Christ Himself felt troubled but it was God’s purpose and God’s will for Him to experience that. John 12:27 “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. (NKJ) The very thing that you are going through just might be the one thing that the Lord is going to use in your life to bring about His purpose. Don’t ask Him to save you from this hour – ask Him to show you His purpose in the troubled hour that He is walking you through. (And….hold onto His hand really, really tight!)
FEBRUARY 26 – Man’s Rules vs. God’s Ways – Do you realize that God has a different way of doing things? Jesus healed the blind man but He healed him on the Sabbath. This was upsetting to ‘man’ because ‘man’ thought God would never do that. Man came up with his own rules. The one whom the Lord touched was cast out. Can you imagine – Cast out because you had an encounter with Christ! John 9:34-38 They answered and said to him, “You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?” And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?” He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him. (NKJ) Always believe God, even if you are cast out.
