TAKING A MOMENT

APRIL 19 – A DIFFERENT FIRE – Would you strike a match and place it in your mouth?….oh, but we all have! James 3:5-6 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. (NKJ) When people speak things that should not be spoken, a fire is lit, and depending on what ears are listening, great damage could be caused. Do your best, in Christ, to put that fire out immediately. We should only speak things that uplift other people. Put out fires when you know someone is stirring things up.
