TAKING A MOMENT

POISON – What comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘poison’?  Is it – Danger! Is it – Don’t touch that! Is it – Stay Away! If I tried to hand you a spoon of rat poison you would not touch it and you sure wouldn’t taste it. So why do we put our hands on sin? Why do we taste sin? Why do we look at sin and think about sin? Sin is poison, and until we look at it with those eyes we might just play around with it, thinking that it is harmless. You can’t play with poison – you wouldn’t play with poison. Yes, we do have God’s grace that covers our sin, and I think that a lot of Christians walk around with this mentality – “If I sin, God will just forgive me.”  Don’t try to dress up your sin – it is Poison! The poison of sin put the Son of God on the Cross because of God’s love for you. What do you think the poison of sin will do to you because of God’s love for you? Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? (NKJ)

Leo has started taking a new medication and we are very hopeful for his healing! Please keep him in your prayers. Sometimes God touches without medication and sometimes God touches through medication. I am mailing a ministry some information concerning ‘Fulfilling Love’ and if this path is the Lord’s will, then I know He will open the door in this direction. The ocean here in Florida is beautiful and I could sit on the sandy beaches and listen/watch the waves for hours…..but I still miss Texas. Juno beach seems to be our favorite one – less crowded and free parking! Fall more in love with Jesus TODAY!
